Polenta with Gongorzola, delicious antidote to the freezing cold!

Molino di Ferro instant Polenta, with gorgonzola! Unique dish which will keep you warm during these cold winter nights!

Main ingredient: “Polenta Istantanea” Molino di Ferro.

Fill a pot with 2 liters (about 2 quarts) of water and heat it up to it’s boiling point. When the water is boiling add a teaspoon of salt. Remove the pot from the stove.

Slowly pour 500 grams (about 2.5 cups) of “Polenta Istantanea” Molino di Ferro and stir carefully with the help of a wooden spoon, in order to avoid the formation of any lumps.

Now add about 400 grams (about 0.88 pounds) of Gorgonzola cheese and let everything blend together by adding 1-2 tablespoons of hot water, in order to achieve a creamy texture.

Put the pot with the “Polenta Istantanea” back on the stove and take it up againt to boiling point just for a few seconds while always stirring carefully. Pour the “Polenta Istantanea” in a casserole and level it.

The finishing touch to make it even more tasty is to sprinkle over the dish some chunks of butter which, with the heat given off by the hot polenta, is going to melt over it.

Enjoy your meal!
